When we began discussing who to have on as our first guest on Above The Basement we immediately thought of Alison.  Apart from being our friend, she is an amazingly impressive player and composer and is in high demand in the Boston music scene.

During our conversation, we talked about her Boston Music Award nomination, how she came to Boston through Berklee College of Music, her past and current projects and her thoughts on writing, working and her musical meditation.
